Healing becomes more possible

when people have somewhere to belong.

Candela creates gatherings, partnerships, and community-rooted experiences where honest conversation, cultural connection, practical support, and joy can exist together.

What Community Means Here

Community is not an extra service at Candela. It is part of how we understand healing. People need clinical care, and they also need language for what they are living, spaces to practice new ways of being, relationships that reduce isolation, and moments that remind them they are more than what they have survived.

Our community work brings those needs together through experiences that feel welcoming, thoughtful, culturally resonant, and useful.

Partnerships

Build something that fits the community you serve

Candela partners with nonprofits, schools, workplaces, healthcare organizations, faith communities, and grassroots leaders to expand access to culturally responsive mental health education and support.

Partnerships may include a single event, an ongoing series, a custom resource, staff learning, community outreach, or consultation on a larger initiative.

Sponsor Access

Help more people participate

Organizations and community partners can help underwrite low-cost or no-cost participation in select Candela events, resources, and community experiences. We welcome sponsorship conversations that are aligned with the purpose of the work and transparent about how support will be used.

There should be more places where people can exhale.

If you have an idea, an audience, a space, or a community need that aligns with Candela, we would love to hear what you are imagining.
