Candela

Grounding Box - Candela

For the ones made of fire.

A ritual box for remembering your aliveness.

Candela is more than a flame.

It is warmth. It is light. It is passion.
It is the fire passed down through our mothers and abuelas.
The thing that keeps us creating, loving, hoping, dreaming, and beginning again.

This box is for the parts of you that are still learning how to burn brightly without burning out.

For the parts that survived hard seasons.

For the parts that still believe there is more life to be lived.

Inside, you'll find small invitations to reconnect with your spark. To move toward what energizes you. To make room for joy, creativity, courage, play, beauty, and wonder.

Because the goal is not simply to survive.

The goal is to feel alive.

May this box remind you that there is still something sacred flickering within you.

Soft.
Fierce.
Tender.
Joyful.

Inside your Box

Anointing Oil

A simple ritual of care.

Place a small amount on your wrists or hands as a reminder that you are worthy of tenderness, attention, and presence. Use it during prayer, reflection, or whenever you need a moment to reconnect with yourself.

The Tea Ritual

An invitation to pause.

Prepare a warm cup and allow yourself a few moments of stillness. Notice the warmth in your hands, the aroma, and the simple act of caring for yourself. Sometimes healing begins with slowing down.

The Ritual Items

Each box includes a collection of items chosen to support the theme of your experience.

Use them as invitations to reflect, create, move, plant, remember, celebrate, or simply be present. There is no right way to engage with them. Trust yourself and return to them whenever you need.

Gratitude Anchor

A small reminder to return to the present moment.

Hold it in your hand when you need grounding, comfort, or a moment to pause. Let it remind you of something you are grateful for today, no matter how small.

Tea Light & Matches

A symbol of warmth and intention.

As you light your candle, consider what you are making space for in this moment. Let the flame serve as a reminder to slow down, breathe deeply, and be fully present with yourself.

What expectations, stories, or beliefs no longer fit who I am becoming?

Where in my life am I craving more freedom?

Emotional Awareness

What emotions have been asking for my attention lately?

What feeling have I been avoiding, minimizing, or pushing aside?

When do I feel most connected to myself?

What is my inner world trying to tell me right now?

Joy & Aliveness

What parts of myself come alive when I feel safe, free, and fully myself?

What would it look like to create more space for delight in my everyday life?

Softness & Compassion

What do I need most from myself right now?

How would I speak to a loved one who was carrying what I am carrying?

Where can I offer myself more grace?

What would it look like to care for myself with tenderness today?

The Soundtrack

This playlist was created to accompany the emotional landscape of this box. Songs for movement, courage, joy, longing, creativity, hope, and remembering what makes you feel alive.

Some songs may make you want to dance.
Some may make you reflect.
Some may remind you of who you were before the world asked you to be so many things.

Let them.

Turn the volume up.
Move your body.
Sing loudly.

There is still something sacred burning within you.

Fire transforms.

Throughout history, people have gathered around fire to mark endings, celebrate beginnings, and release what no longer belongs to them.

Begin by taking a moment to reflect on what has been weighing you down.

Perhaps it is fear.
A belief about yourself.
A disappointment.
A version of you that no longer fits.
A story you are ready to stop carrying.

Write it on the cotton paper provided.

When you are ready, place it safely in the burner and light the paper, watching as it turns to ash.

As it burns, remind yourself:

I do not have to carry this with me anymore.

Take a few deep breaths and notice what remains.

Not what was released.

What remains.

Your strength.
Your courage.
Your spark.

Fire does not only destroy.

It creates space for something new.

After completing the release ritual, choose a temporary tattoo and place it somewhere you'll see throughout the week.

Let it serve as a small reminder of what you are choosing instead.

More joy.
More courage.
More softness.
More truth.
More aliveness.

The Release Ritual

Affirmations

I am allowed to take up space.

My light does not diminish when others shine.

I do not have to earn rest, joy, or belonging.

I trust myself to begin again.

I release what no longer serves me.

I am worthy of the life I desire.

My creativity, passion, and joy matter.

I can be both soft and strong.

I honor the fire within me without letting it consume me.

I am becoming more fully myself each day.

Before You Go…

Being alive is not always easy.

Sometimes it looks like starting over.
Sometimes it looks like taking up space.
Sometimes it looks like choosing joy, even after a hard season.

Keep making room for what lights you up.

The fire within you is worth tending.
